Wood restored to 95% condition.  Some small marks left in wood and checkering to match condition of metal.  Metal was cleaned and severely damaged screws were repaired. An original Hunter Arms buttplate and screws replaced the missing plate.

Wood was finished with the "Armory" process, leaving pores
somewhat open. This finish in conjunction with coloring gives a finish
somewhat reminiscent of Smith's "Rose Oil" finish.
