COMPLETE RESTORATION
Complete restoration of this pre-1913 00 grade required a new buttstock and forend. Rib repair was done by Giacomo Sporting, Lee Center, NY. Color casehardening done by Turnbull Restoration, Bloomfield, NY. All other metal repair, polishing and finishing done by Classic Gunstocks, LLC, including barrel and furniture blue.
A slab sawn Fancy English Walnut blank was selected for the project and the new 00 checkering pattern was fully pointed at client's request.
