This Savage Fox Sterlingworth was damaged in shipment to its owner. Approximately one inch of the toe area was broken off  with some small slivers of wood missing.  The toe end of the buttplate was also broken off and the grip cap  was missing around 1/4" of material from it's leading edge from a previous incident.  The original buttplate and grip cap were rebuilt with new material rather than replaced.  "Armory" finish applied to approximate the original Savage finish.
